About the NLG Lawstudents Listserv

Welcome to the National Lawyers Guild law student member listserv! I hope that this list serves as a tool for law students to network, exchange, and disseminate information about Guild activities so that we can "build the Guild" and strengthen our local chapters and national efforts in furtherance of our ultimate goal: the development of a just society.

When you want to send a message to be received by the whole group (currently approx. 500 Guild law students across the country), simply mail your message to lawstudents@nationallawyersguild.org

Everyone already receives a large amount of email messages daily. In order for us to maintain this as a useful forum, I encourage you to use this list for Guild related activities only. Given its size, this list is intended as an announcement and networking tool, not a discussion forum. If you would like to share your thoughts about an item posted, please consider whether it may be best to simply respond directly to the poster or to the entire list. Please do not forward chain emails, advertisements, personal messages, etc. I would like to see this listserv remain a useful rather than cumbersome resource.

yours in solidarity,
